Customer Inquiry - Service Connections Reference Activity Area

Use the Service Connections Reference Activity Area to view the usage history for metered service connections, change out history for service connections, interim readings and the power factor readings history for service connections, if applicable. The table following the window example describes the Service Connections Reference Activity Area for the Customer Inquiry.

Types of Reference Activities:

Tip: A reference activity only displays if there is activity for the service connection. For example, if you maintained interim readings for the service connection, then the Interim Readings History displays.

Directions:

To display the Service Connections Reference Activity Area in the Customer Inquiry:

The Customer Inquiry window automatically opens when Utility Billing is launched.
Tip: To display the Customer Inquiry after starting other windows, click Customer Inquiry on the Edifice Toolbar.
At the Inquire By prompt, click Customer in the drop-down list.
Press [TAB] to move to the Customer prompt, and then enter a valid Customer ID.

Tip: To inquire by location, service connection or street name, see Customer Inquiry - Inquire By Selection Area.
Click Expand All to display the additional service connection detail.
Tip: If the Services & Service Connections Panel does not display, click Show Service Connections .
Click Show Reference Activity on the Service Connection Toolbar.

Usage Readings History
Prior Date	Displays the date of the prior meter reading for the billing period.
Present Date	Displays the date of the present meter reading for the billing period.
Prior Reading	Displays the amount of the prior meter reading for the billing period.
Present Reading	Displays the amount of the present meter reading for the billing period.
Usage	Displays the amount of usage that is used during the billing period based on the Present Reading and Prior Reading amounts.
Power Factor Readings History Tip: For more information, see Using Power Factors.
Kwh	Displays the KWH reading that was entered for the billing period.
KQH	Displays the KQH reading that was entered for the billing period, if applicable.
Kvarh	Displays the KVARH reading that was entered for the billing period, if applicable.
Power Factor	Displays the calculated Power Factor Multiplier, which is used to generate the billing transaction.
Date	Displays the date the Power Factor readings are entered.
Change Out History Tip: The Change Out History is maintained during the Change Out Connection Wizard.
Previous Reference	Displays the Meter ID, Trailer ID or Component ID of the reference previously assigned.
New Reference	Displays the Meter ID, Trailer ID or Component ID of the reference currently assigned.
Date	Displays the date that the service connection was changed out.
Prior Read	Displays the date of the meter reading before the most recent reading.
Present Read	Displays the date of the most recent meter reading.
Usage	Displays the amount of usage at the time of the change out, as determined from the Prior Reading and the Present Reading amounts.
Interim Readings History Tip: Interim Readings are maintained during the Create Interim Readings Wizard.
Present Date	Displays the date of the present reading for the interim reading.
Prior Date	Displays the date of the meter reading before the present reading date.
Present Reading	Displays the amount of the meter reading for the present reading date.
Prior Reading	Displays the amount of the meter reading before the most recent meter reading.
Usage	Displays the amount of the usage as determined from the Prior Reading and the Present Reading amounts.
