Collection Procedure

Follow these steps to complete the Collection procedure.  This procedure consists of the routines for generating the collection notices for customers with overdue balances.

  1. Create the Collection Workfile.

  2. Print the Collection Print Journal to proof and approve the customers and their collection information.

  3. Use Collection Workfile Maintenance to delete the customers who should not receive a collection notice from the Collection Workfile, if necessary.

  4. Print the Collection Balance Report, if applicable.

  5. Print the Collection XML Notices for mailing to the appropriate customers.
