Collection XML Collection Letter Instructions

Use the Collection XML Collection Letter Instructions to print collection notices for the customers that have seriously delinquent balances.  This routine generates an XML stream of customer collection information and interfaces with Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat to create the customer collection notices.  In addition, you can send the XML stream to programs like Excel for further manipulation.  Each time a letter is printed Edifice updates the customer's Collection Notice tracking and their collection status so that you have a complete audit trail.  For more information, see the Customer Status Panel of the Customer Inquiry.

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Collection.

  3.  Click XML Collection Letter.

  Services	To select the services to print, click to check the appropriate services listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all services listed, click Check All .
  	To begin printing to the Windows™ default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p] Important:  Be sure to select the printer (job site file) that is set up for printing the collection notices.
  	To print to the Print View screen, click here.
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
