Meter Testing Post

Use the Meter Testing Post routine to create the Meter Testing history transactions for the meters that have been tested and to update the meters with the Test Date and Test Status.

Notes:

• Prior to beginning the Post routine make sure you have updated the Meter Testing transactions with the test date and test status.

• The Meter Testing Post performs the following functions:

• For each meter that was tested, the Meter Last Test Date is updated.

• Generates the meter testing history records that you can view during the Meter Testing Detail Panel of Meter Inventory Maintenance.

• You can view the updated Meter Last Test Date during the Service Connections Area of the Customer Inquiry.

• Opening the Meter Testing Post Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Meter Testing.

  3.  Click Post.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Meter Testing Post Routine Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To start the Meter Testing Post Routine, click Proceed or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape without performing the Meter Testing Post Routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT +c]
  Process Status	Displays information pertaining to the various phases of the Meter Testing Post process to guide you.  Important:  The status displays Complete when the process is ended.  In addition, the Message window displays Process Ended and 100% to alert you when the routine is complete.
  	To close the Post program when Complete displays and the routine is finished, click Close .
