Scheduling Work Order Notes Labels Maintenance

Use Work Order Notes Labels Maintenance to maintain the record that controls the user-definable Work Order Notes field labels, which are part of Scheduling.  You can view the Work Order Notes during the Schedule Appointments window and the View Appointment Details Window.

• Opening Work Order Notes Labels Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Service Mgt. from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Daily Work.

  3.  Click Scheduling.

  4.  Click File Maintenance from the Scheduling Menu Bar.

  5.  Click Tables.

  6.  Click Work Order Notes Labels.

• Creating a New Work Order Notes Labels, click More.

   

   IMPORTANT:  You can not create Scheduling Work Order Notes Labels.  The necessary table is created during the software installation and updates.  To maintain the Scheduling Work Order Notes Labels, see the instructions for editing later in this topic.

   

• Editing an Existing Work Order Notes Labels, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save the changed record.

  1. To display the record to be changed, simply open Scheduling Work Order Notes Labels Maintenance.  The record automatically displays.

  2. To position the mouse to the field to be edited, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  3. Enter the data changes.

  4. To complete the edit process, click Save or press [ENTER].

  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	Note:  Search is not active during this maintenance.
  	Note:  Retrieve is not required during this maintenance.
  Note 1	Enter the text for the first work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)
  Note 2	Enter the text for the second work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)
  Note 3	Enter the text for the third work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)
  Note 4	Enter the text for the fourth work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)
  Note 5	Enter the text for the fifth work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)
  Note 6	Enter the text for the sixth work order notes field label. (up to 25 characters)

   

• Deleting an Existing Work Order Notes Labels, click More.

   

   Important:  To maintain data integrity, you can not delete the Work Order Notes Labels.
