Account Balance Inquiry - Overview
Use the Account Balance Inquiry to display Period Balance information by account so you can compare up to three different data sources at a time including the current Chart of Accounts, history, and budgets. For the specified Account Number, there are three comparison columns with each row representing a Period.

Opening the Account Balance Inquiry, click More.
Basic Method (from the G/L Module):
Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.
Click
Account Balance Inquiry.
Tip: Or,
use the keyboard shortcut:

Advanced Method (from another NDS Module):
Click General Ledger from the Menu Bar.
Click Daily Work.
Click
Account Balance Inquiry.
Tip: Or,

Note: To
activate the General
Ledger menu in another module, the G/L
Application Control must be set up for the module during installation.
Account Balance Inquiry Window Examples:

Viewing the Account Balances for each Period within an account, click More.
Open the Account Balances Inquiry to display the Detail window.
Enter
the Account Number
that you want to display.
Tip: If
you do not know the Account Number, click Search.
Click
Retrieve or press
[ENTER].

At
the View
Preferences prompt, select the Source Options
and click OK or
press [ENTER].
