Patient Entry - Insurance Archive Area
Use the Insurance Archive Area to display a list of obsolete insurances for the patient that were saved in the archive (rather than removed). You can move insurances back and forth between the Assigned Insurances Area and the Archive Area. The table following the window example describes the Insurance Archive Area for the Patient Entry - Insurance Window.
Directions:
To display the Insurance Archive Area:
Open the Insurance Window.
Tip: For details about opening windows, refer to the Patient Reference Panel.
Click the Insurance Archive icon in the Patient Entry - Assigned Insurances Area.
Notes:
To add an insurance to the archive, which removes it from Insurance 1 - 6, drag the patient's Insurance Code to the Archive Insurance icon .
Note: You cannot archive an insurance if there is a balance for the patient.
To move the insurance out of the archive, click to highlight the line for the insurance that you want to move and drag it back to the desired Insurance 1-6 location in the Assigned Insurances Area.
To close the Insurance Archive Area so that the address area of the Insurance Policy Holder Area is uncovered, click the Insurance Archive icon again.
