The Imports menu contains commands used to import journal entries from sources outside of the General Ledger module.
Directions
To open
the Imports menu, click the following sequence:
Utilities from the Menu
Bar; and then GL Imports.

Imports journal entry transactions from a text file into a temporary holding file in the General Ledger. The routine prints an exception report if there are any errors. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [t] [i] [i] | |

Moves the imported journal entry transactions from the temporary file into the general journal and clears out the temporary file. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [t] [i] [p] | |
