Table Overview

Tables are special files that contain settings and parameters that are maintainable, although usually remain unchanged over long periods of time.  The data in tables are organized in a rows and columns.  Multiple modules can share tables and many Tax Billing Tables can be maintained in the Assessing and Cash Receipts modules.

Tax Billing Tables

Name

Description

ABATE

Controls if the Abatement Approved message prints on the Real Estate Tax Bills.

CREDIT

Defines the Credit Codes with the associated descriptions.

GL#

Contains settings for the current tax year and General Ledger Account Numbers.

INTCAL

Contains the dates and percentages required to calculate interest charge amounts.

INTCAL2

Contains rows for additional billing periods if the INTCAL table is full.

PARCEL

Defines the headings for the sub-fields within the Property ID.

PPBILL

Contains the descriptions for the value fields, which are used to calculate the Taxable Value for Tax Accounts with a Personal Property Account Type.

TAXCOD

Contains the list of valid Tax Type Codes.

TB-GL

Contains the Taxes Receivable and Taxes Committed General Ledger Account Numbers used by the Post Tax Bills program.

TBDIST

Contains the percentage for distributing the total Tax Amount Due among one or more billings within the tax year.

TXCHARGE

Contains the General Ledger Account Numbers associated with specific Tax Type Codes that are used during Tax Charge Entry.

TXFORM

Controls the form style for the layout of the Real Estate Tax Bills and the Personal Property Tax Bills.

TXOPTION

Controls whether to print the full tax amount due or the net tax due (less prepayments) on the Personal Property and Real Estate Tax Bills for the first billing.

TXPRINT

Controls whether to print the full tax amount due or the current tax due on the Personal Property and Real Estate Tax Bills for the second, third, and fourth billings.
