Customer To Bankruptcy Wizard

Use the Customer To Bankruptcy Wizard to move a customer account to bankruptcy status.  In addition, you can specify the dollar amount of aging balances to move to the customer's Bankruptcy aging balance.  Any dollar amount in the Bankruptcy aging balance is excluded from the customer's statement.

To see directions for...

• Opening the Customer To Bankruptcy Wizard, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Wizard Maintenance.

  4.  Click Customer.

  5.  Click To Bankruptcy.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [w] [ENTER] [s].

• Moving a Customer To Bankruptcy, click More.

   

   IMPORTANT:  To avoid losing data, the wizard automatically validates and saves your data when you click Finish.

   

  1.  Open the Customer To Bankruptcy Wizard.

  2.  To load the Customer, enter the Customer ID in the Data Entry Panel.
  Tip:  To Search for a Customer, click Search .

  3.  To navigate to the Specify Amount step, click Next or, click the name of the step in the Steps Area.

  4.  Confirm or edit the charge and finance dollar amount to move to bankruptcy for the customer.

  5.  Confirm the customer ID as the correct customer to move to bankruptcy.

  6.  To finish entry, click Finish , or press [ENTER].

• Editing an Existing Customer To Bankruptcy, click More.

   

   Note:  This wizard only moves a customer and a specified dollar amount to bankruptcy.  

   

• Deleting an Existing Customer To Bankruptcy, click More.

   Note:  This wizard only moves a customer account to bankruptcy.  To delete a customer, use the Remove Customer Wizard.
