Billing Menu

The Billing Menu contains commands used to generate customer billing transactions and process a billing run.

To open the Billing Menu, click Daily Work from the menu, and next click Billing.

Billing Menu Items
Bill Entry	Enter, edit and delete information for generating customer billing transactions. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [e]
Edit Journal	Generates the billing Edit Journal of billing transactions entered into the Billing Transaction file. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [d]
Print Journal	Generates the Billing Journal. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [j]
Exception Report	Generates a report of customers whose bills exceed the variance range allowed. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [x]
Print Unbilled Account Report	Generates a report of customers who did not have billing charges generated, but who should have been included in the billing run. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [r]
Statements	Opens a menu for generating statements. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [s]
Billing Post	Updates various files with the billing transaction information including customers, history and general ledger. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [o]
Utilities	Opens a menu for utility programs. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [u]
Meter Communications	Opens a menu for meter export and import programs. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [m]
Reading Tools	Opens a menu for reading tool programs. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [r]
Billing Control Panel	Opens a Fast Access Toolbar containing commonly used billing program buttons. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [b] [b]
