Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Information Wizard

Use the Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Information Wizard to maintain service, installation and repair information for customers.  The customer miscellaneous service is informational only and can be used for reporting purposes.  You can view the customer's miscellaneous servicing information during the Customer Service Panel of the Customer Inquiry.

Tips:  

• Do not confuse the Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Information Wizard and the Service Management module.  These are two separate routines and they do not interface.

• Opening the Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Wizard, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Wizard Maintenance.

  4.  Click Customer.

  5.  Click Miscellaneous Servicing Information.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [w] [ENTER] [c] [ENTER].

   

• Creating a new Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Record, click More.

   

  IMPORTANT:  To avoid losing data, the wizard automatically validates and saves your data when you click Finish .

  1.  Open the Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Information Wizard.

  2.  At the Choose Customer Step, enter the Customer ID in the Data Entry Panel.
  Tip:  To Search for a customer, click Search .

  3.  To advance to the next step, simply press [ENTER].
  Tip:  For more information about moving around within the Wizard, see Wizard - Navigation.

  4.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to enter, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  5.  Enter the data changes.

  6.  To finish entry and save the changes, click Finish , or press [ENTER].

• Editing an existing Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Record, click More.

  1.  Open the Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Information Wizard.  The first step displays in the Data Entry Panel.

  2.  To load the customer's miscellaneous servicing information, enter the Customer ID in the Data Entry Panel.
  Tip:  To Search for a customer, click Search .

  3.  To navigate to the step that you want to maintain, click the name of the step in the Steps Area,
  Or, click Next or click Back until the correct step displays.

  4.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  5.  Enter the data changes.

  6.  If there are any other steps requiring changes, navigate to the proper step and make the changes.

  7.  To finish entry and save the changes, click Finish , or press [ENTER].

• Deleting an existing Customer Miscellaneous Servicing Record, click More.

  Note:  This wizard only maintains customer miscellaneous servicing information.
