Customer Information Wizard

Use the Customer Information Wizard to edit existing customer information. This includes the customer name, mailing address and customer messages.

Opening the Customer Information Wizard, click More.

1. Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

2. Click File Maintenance.

3. Click Wizard Maintenance.

4. Click Customer.

5. Click Customer Information.

Tip: Or, use the keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [y] [m] [w] [ENTER] [s].

Tip: To see general instructions for each panel in the example below, the cursor becomes a hand when you position the cursor over the field or panel. Click once to display the associated topic.
Editing Existing Customer Information, click More.
IMPORTANT: To avoid losing data, the wizard automatically validates and saves your data when you click Finish .
1. Open the Customer Information Wizard.
2. At the Choose Customer Step, enter the Customer ID in the Data Entry Panel.
  Tip: To Search for customer, click Search .
3. To advance to the next step, simply press [ENTER].
  Tip: For more information about moving around within the Wizard, see Wizard - Navigation.
4. To position the pointer to the information that you want to enter, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
5. Enter the data.
6. To finish entry and save the changes, click Finish , or press [ENTER].

Creating New Customer Information, click More.

Note: This wizard only edits customer information. To create a new Customer, use the Create Customer Wizard.
Deleting Existing Customer Information, click More.

Note: This wizard only edits customer information. To delete a Customer, use the Remove Customer Wizard.
Understanding the field values for the following panels, click the panel name in the table below:

Field Details by Panel
Steps Panel	The upper left panel lists each step that you can maintain. Each step corresponds to a specific group of fields displayed in the Data Entry Panel.
Narrative Panel	The lower left panel provides tips and notes for entering the data.
Data Entry Panel	The center panel displays the fields for you to maintain and contains different fields for each step. Tip: The step currently displayed in the Data Entry Panel is highlighted in the Steps Panel. Steps: Choose Customer Step Edit Customer Name Information Step Edit Customer address Information Step Edit Customer Message Information Step
Inquiry Panel	The right panel displays the data you have entered so far for each step.
