Patient Wizards - Workers' Compensation - User Defined Area

Use the Workers' Compensation - User Defined Area to maintain fields defined by the Workers' Compensation Control Record.  There are three date fields and eight alphanumeric fields that you can tailor to your office's needs.  The table following the window example describes the Workers' Compensation - User Defined Area for the Patient Wizards.

  1. Follow the opening instructions for the appropriate Patient Wizard.

  2. Check-In New Patient Wizard

Notes:  

  • The following fields are informational only and can be used for reporting purposes.

  • Because the fields are user-defined, the field names in the software may not match the documentation.  You can globally change the field names by updating INSight's Workers' Compensation Control Record.

  • There are three date fields and eight alpha-numeric fields.

Date 1 through Date 3

Maintain and view user-defined date information. (mmddccyy - century and slashes optional)

Example Uses:  

  • The date the patient can return to work.

  • The date the patient should work part time as related to their workers' compensation claim.

  • The date of the initial contact you had with the patient related to their workers' compensation claim.

Alpha Field 1 through Alpha Field 8

Maintain and view user-defined alpha-numeric information. (up to 24 characters)

Example Uses:  

  • The Provider treating the patient for the workers' compensation injury

  • The patient's work status (full-time, part-time, no work)

  • All work restrictions

To display the previous step, click Back .
