Patient Policy Holder Wizard - Overview
Use the Patient Policy Holder Wizard, which is launched from the Patient Insurance Wizard, to quickly and easily create or edit insurance policy holder demographic information. A policy holder is simply any patient identified as the policy holder of the insurance policy. For example, a spouse is sometimes the policy holder for a patient's insurance. In INSight the policy holder must have a patient record, even if not a patient of the practice. The Wizard guides you through each step of data entry in an organized manner. It also provides the flexibility to skip around among the steps. The table below describes each step for the Patient Policy Holder Wizard.
